Welcome to the blog section of Peak. This theme supports all 10 of the different post formats the tumblog option in WordPress enables. All formats are listed on the first page. Hovering over the post icon will show post categories.
Including a full-width image like this above, without the padding on the right and the left side is easy. All you need to add is the class “full-width” to your image. Make sure you use the fullsize option for the image included, so it fills up the whole area (620px wide).
Video posts are easy to add, simply paste the link to the video you want to embed in the custom field and it will work. These video websites are supported for the link method. There is also an option to paste the whole embed code if you prefer that, which will work with all video websites.
This is a status format post! Here you can write status updates similar to twitter and facebook, or simply use it for large text announcements.
All you need to get an audio file to play in this js player, is to paste the direct link to either an .MP3 or .OGG file in a custom field. Credit to premiumpixels for the awesome player skin.
Simply upload images to a specific post in WordPress, and select the “Gallery” post format, and it will automatically turn into a nice slider. It also smoothly resizes the slider height depending on each image’s size.
Check out this link format post, the custom fields will only ask you for the title of the link, and the link itself. Then you can of course also add a description below, like this, using the normal textfield.
This is a single image post – the only difference to the gallery post is that it only shows one image, not multiple. Will be resized to 620px width, any height.
